October Play- In the Garden and Hallowe’en
We were very busy looking for signs of autumn in October. We collected leaves, conifers, helicopters, pine cones and berries. We brought them into the classroom and showed them to our friends.
Our role play area this month was ‘In the Garden’ We had a great time gathering leaves and planting wheat. Some children even decided to draw maps of the garden and signs for vegetables that we had planted.
We created homes for hibernating animals in the sand area and in the construction area.
We got to make play dough as part of Science. We loved this because we could play with our new play dough afterwards.
