March – The Farm
The Farm
We had great fun learning through play during March and April. Our theme was ‘The Farm.’
We were very busy putting our reading and writing skills to use. We made to- do lists, wrote receipts and drew plans for our farm.
We created a ‘Farm Shop’ in the role play area. We had to set up our shop and we had to serve customers. It was great fun. In our small world area we made farms. We had to count the animals and make plans. We also constructed farm houses. We had such fun making fields and roads in the sand pit. We really enjoyed learning about the farm.
